Little Mama

While I was making up Peeper's bed, and struggling to make the flat sheet work, she was puttering around playing and I wasn't paying a whole lot of attention.

At one point, I heard her say something along the lines of "Oh! I fink I can cawwy my baby in my ahms!" as she walked in holding a doll. I wonder if she'd been looking for her Peeper-size sling?

She was wandering around the room with the baby, and told me "She's nussin. I gon' nuss hew in dis chaih," as she climbed up into the glider.

(Did you notice how she said "nuss" instead of "goody." What's up with that?)

Then she sat there and "nussed" her, while "Shh-shh-shh"ing exactly like I do, when I'm settling her down.

How sweet is that?

And later, there was this. I guess she is still cosleeping, after all.

(That nursing position, by the way, is one of Peeper's favorites, as well.)

  2. So cute! I had to laugh at your caption on the last picture because that is one of my son's favorite nursing positions too! The fun of nursing a toddler, ha ha.
