Belly Shot 6: 35 Weeks 4 Days - One Month To Go!

Now that we're one calendar month from my due date, I feel pretty justified in referring to myself as "eight months pregnant, " whether I really look it or not.

This whole "same outfit in each photo" thing is a nice idea, but I'm pretty sure that the next time I wear these sweat pants, I'll have Peeper in my arms. They were very tight when I put them on for the photo!


Oh, and by the way, this is a nice shot of my "belly sock" which I've been wearing just about every day lately.

Only when I'm in "real clothes" to go out in public, of course, but I put it on for the photo because the pants are tight enough that they were squishing me in a bit and hiding some of my Peeper-belly, so I wanted to pull them down, but no, my naked tummy is not going on the interwebs.

Belly Shot #3: 23 weeks 5 days

Nothing spectacular, but it does look like Peeper (and I) have done some growing over the past three and a half weeks or so:

And, in an effort to convince myself that I do look at least a little bit pregnant, and not just fat, here's a photo from my post gastric bypass series, taken at about the same weight as I am now.

The boobs and belly are definitely bigger now. Logic tells me that something must be smaller, but I haven't quite figured out what it is yet.

Photo Hunter #53: Self

Belly Shot #1: 14 weeks, 5 days
Nothing to see here, check back in a couple of weeks

I'd like very much to claim that what you're looking at in this photo is a brand-new "baby bump" (ugh, I hate that term for some reason!) but it's pretty much just some tummy flab that was there long before Peeper was a sparkle in anybody's eye.

Over the past couple of days, though, I have started to notice that my lower belly seems to be getting firmer, so I think Peeper is finally going over the wall, my uterus is clearing my pelvic bones, and I should expect to start seeing something soon.

So, I figured I'd better go ahead and get a baseline "before" photo, before I start having something real to show off!
