Now that we're one calendar month from my due date, I feel pretty justified in referring to myself as "eight months pregnant, " whether I really look it or not.

Peeper is due is less than a month, that makes you absolutely, unequivocally, no doubt about it, 8 months pregnant. Face it, she's just a delicate little flower who doesn't want to look all BIG and stuff.
