Colonial Fair

Shrike had to work today, but we still found time to visit a nearby "regional center for educating the public on the cultural and natural history of the Appalachian frontier" for their Colonial Fair and Muster.

It was right up Peeper's little alley.

George Washington was there!

We bought her a tomahawk. (Foam blade.)

Her favorite part was this original early-19th-century cabin.

But she also enjoyed the Colonial-era games.

And the brand new baby quails were pretty cool, too.
