More Celebrating

Due to Shrike's work schedule and our big family Mother's Day / birthday thing yesterday, it was this evening before we celebrated my birthday and Mothers' Day at home. Once the skunk smell was taken care of, we grilled hotdogs and then came in for some cake and gifting.

I chose a frozen chocolate lava cake, which we all shared.

My gifts - When Peeper and I went to buy a shirt for Shrike's birthday (per her request), she picked out a red one for her, and also had to get this blue one for me. Shrike found the cool oak leaf rock thing. We think it's intended to go in the garden, but I don't want it to get messed up, so I'm just displaying it on a shelf.
