Petting Zoo

As part of our unit study on bees (wrap-up post coming sort of soon), I took Peeper to look at an indoor, glass-walled bee hive today (and took zero photos of that, way to go, Mama).

It's at this place that bills itself as "the farm in the city" (as though we are a "city") and sells local produce as well as lots of other yummy things, and has a petting zoo.

(They also have a pumpkin patch and other fun stuff set up in the Fall. We've been there with MOMS Club, and took Peeper's two-year-old birthday photos there.)

She thought the bees were okay (but she did seem to like the honey that we bought) but she really enjoyed feeding the bunnies, goats, donkeys, "horses" (ponies, I believe) and sheep. There were also alpacas, but they were in a pen farther away.
