Our Day

The three of us went to lunch at Red Robin, for the fundraiser that our MOMS Club is doing to benefit our firefighter friend and his family. It was packed. Peeper and I went back for dinner, and it was beyond packed. An hour wait, and four cars lined up in the carry-out lane.

The manager gave me some hints about how much money they'd brought in so far, and although it included some sales that were not part of what we'll get ten percent of, it's obvious that we're going to have a great donation for our friends.

Here we are, sharing our second ice cream sundae of the day.

And then we went to the Dollar Store, where Peeper checked out the reading glasses and I bought a cart full of pregnancy tests for the little woman.
