Peeper's Big Beach Adventure - Day Two: Travelling Fools

Day Two was Day One for me, if ya know what I mean, and I was every bit as grumpy and bitchy as you might expect.

It didn't help that we went against our better judgement and stopped for lunch an hour into the drive, when Peeper had been asleep for about fifteen minutes.

That's what we get for trying to caravan while travelling with a toddler.

Never. Again.

We'd hoped that she would go back to sleep when we got back on the road, but no dice. She was awake the rest of the way there, and not too happy about it for, oh, the last couple of hours.

But, we did finally get there, ate dinner at Joe's Crab Shack and got moved in to our accommodations.

Our bedroom. The bed on the left was ours, the one on the right belonged to Shrike's sister and her kids. The kids took turns sleeping with their mom and sleeping on the floor.
