Pork Chops Over Pasta

We're not big pork chop folks, but we had some from Angel Food in the freezer, so I figured I'd better do something with them.

Pork Chops Over Pasta

2 boneless pork chops
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 cubes beef bullion
1/4 tsp (?) garlic
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 (?) can milk
pasta, any shape

Boil pasta. I used the remains of a package of "Wacky Mac," plus some elbow macaronis. I made way more than I needed.

Brown onions in olive oil, with garlic and bullion. Add pork chops and brown on both sides.

Transfer pork chops to a well-oiled baking dish.

Brown onions a bit more, if needed, then top pork chops with them.

Combine soup and milk, and pour over chops and onions. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 30 minutes, until pork chops are fully cooked.

If sauce is too saucy, return to skillet and simmer until it thickens a bit.

Serve chops and sauce over pasta.

I thought it came out pretty tasty. Good thing, since Peeper wasn't especially impressed, and I'm sure Shrike won't touch it.

  1. It tastes much better than it looks. It just looks, well, beige.
