I've simplified it a bit, even beyond the changed you made. I just use cream cheese, Eagle brand and lemon juice.
It was from a Food Services organization fundraiser recipe book. The original had almond extract. I switched to vanilla. The original also call for a topping of cherry pie filling, but we never used that. It is VERY good. You forgot to mention the graham cracker crust.
