Daily Peep: Room Service

Peeper and I are at the Eastern BlueState La Leche League Conference. Tonight was just meet-and-greet stuff, and the actual sessions start tomorrow.

So far, it reminds me, in a way, of the first time Shrike and I went to a pride festival.

With, you know, less gay people and more boobs.

But, in the sense of suddenly being one of many, instead of one of very few.

I've already seen more nursing babies this evening than I have in, oh, let's say at least since Peeper was born and I joined the club.

Here's Peeper having a pre-bedtime snack of Cheerios in our hotel room.

And here she is after her bedtime snack of goody.

What's on the iPod? Well, when I took the photo, she was actually listening to "The Girl With The Flaxen Hair" by Claude Debussy.

Fitting, no?

    And more babies, I'm guessing.

  4. I'm glad to hear nephew is going to be okay!
And that is a lovely picture of Peeper sleeping. There is nothing so content as a nursing baby, or one who has just nursed. I'll bet she's dreaming about warm milk.
