Start playing music. Makes them musical and-big plus-develops mathematical abilities. Not an old wives tale; it has been shown in peer reviewed scientific studies. We want high performance literacy AND good math/science skills. Also artistic talent and appreciation. Other than great beauty, high IQ, incredible talent and a loving and charming personality it doesn't matter how they turn out. But don't worry. Whatever other people think, we will know that they match that description, won't we?
YIKES!!! I don't even really care if they are literate, so long as they are good at Math/Science. Unlike me. I was talking to my nephew today on the phone (he loves his math homework about as much as I did) and I said we're too much alike. My nephew, who is 10, said something along the lines of "I like you but we're not alike." Guess I scared him.
I'm just your typical lesbian who met, fell in love with and moved half way across the country to be with the woman of my dreams, writing about life, love and - holy cow - parenting!
