As I mentioned yesterday, tonight our local Democratic Party held one of it's three annual fundraising dinners. That got me thinking . . . .
Thirteen Political or Charity Fundraising Projects That I've Been Involved In Over the Past Few Years
- Local Democratic Party - Headquarters Fund
- Local Democratic Party - Raffle Ticket Sales
- Local Democratic Party - Annual Dinners & Picnic
- Local Democratic Party - A variety of special projects
- Hurricane relief for the Public School Foundation in my hometown
- Flood relief (Red Cross) for our local area
- March of Dimes in memory of a friend's infant daughter
- Campaign fundraising - Congressional candidate (hosted barbeque)
- Campaign fundraising - Senatorial candidate (cohosted/planned house party & rally)
- Campaign fundraising - Governor (in conjunction with a campaign visit)
- Campaign fundraising - State house candidate
- State Democratic Party LGBT Caucus
- Collecting clothes, furniture, etc for local family who had a house fire

ReplyDeleteGood point. I was only thinking a about money-raising (and collecting other donations) this time, but "campaigns I've been involved it" sounds like a good list for next week!
