I usually go for reading, on-line stuff, computer solitare or TV. Try that without power (curtesy of Hurricane Humberto). Boring!

ReplyDeleteWell, today it would appear that I will be pulling burrs out of dog hair. Big Galoot won't let me. He prefers to do it himself. And let me say he is not all that gentle about it either. Perfect Pup lets me and holds still for it. I try to be as gentle as possible and salvage the hiar, but her tail may have to be shaved to the bone. Other than that, I like reading a book, watching a movie, sleeping for entertainment, playing solitaire somethimes, organizing things (that seldom happens), playing with the puppers outside and working outside...although I may have to take some more ADvil today.

ReplyDeleteDon't have time to read much except textbooks these days - and it is all hard to do with no power!
(Did I mention how much I love my A/C? And my computer and lights too!)
Apropro nothing, I was reading one of your links that referred to crocs and escalators which reminded that today as I took a shortcut through the refinery water supply pond (on a road, of course), I saw a 6 to 8 foot alligator out in the water a few feet of shore. People fish from there. Seems we see more of them than we used to.
