Perspective

These lightbulbs that we just bought claim to last for up to seven years.

That means that if I get pregnant within the first six months or so that we're trying, the kid could be in kindergarten before we have to buy lightbulbs again.

I have this image of a bulb (finally) burning out and the kid freaking because s/he doesn't know that's even possible.
