Sunny Saturday

Evidently, it's summer here again. We made the most of it, spending the morning at the Farmer's Market, which we've missed the past few weeks.

We picked up some onions and local honey, had falafel, hummus and pita chips for lunch, and Peeper made a paper pepper puppet.

This afternoon, I cooked up some "Basil Roasted Root Veggies" (potatoes, carrots, beet, turnip, onion, garlic, butter and basil) and an apple crisp for the final potluck (and the first we've made it to) at the farm where we belong to the CSA.

We had some yummy dinner, Peeper played with the other kids, and the evening ended with a bonfire.
