The Farm in the City

After a quick trip to the farmer's market, where we didn't actually buy anything but lunch (Hummus and pita sandwich from a little falafel stand which is quickly becoming famous among farmer's market shoppers. Sadly, we got there too late for falafel, but will try to be earlier next week!) Peeper and I went over to the place that bills itself as "the farm in the city" (it's much more of a farm than this is a city) where they were having an open house. They sheared their alpacas and sheep this morning; we missed that part, but did make it for face painting and balloon animals and much feeding of the farm critters.
