Flour Child

Peeper and I made banana bread this evening, for tomorrow's recipe club meeting. The first ingredient to go in was two cups of whole wheat flour. After I put it in, Peeper said, dramatically, "Oh, it smells so good! Mmmm, smell the whole wheat!

She was serious.

After I put it in the oven, I offered to let her lick the bowl, but she didn't want it. All she wanted was a bowl of whole wheat flour and a spoon.




Little freak.
