Fall Farm Fun Day

Our county Farm Bureau sponsors an annual Fall Farm Fun Day, hosted at a different local farm each year. We went a couple of years ago when it was close to our house, and this year, it was right up the road again, and Shrike had a rare Saturday off, and the weather was beautiful, so you know we were there.

Peeper went on two hay rides and a barrel train, pet chickens, saw baby cows and mama cows being milked, ate two hotdogs, a brownie and a bowl of ice cream, and drank about a quart of chocolate and strawberry milk.

 When we got home, I asked her, "What was the best part of the Farm Fest?"

 Her answer?

 "The corn! Because it's a veggie!"
