Too Much?
Peeper's lunch is all packed for Mother's Day Out tomorrow. I think I might have gotten a bit carried away.
Okay, here's what happened.
I asked her what she wanted to take, and told her she needed to choose a protein, a fruit, a veggie, and a sometimes food.
She was going back and forth a bit, and some of her "choices" were a little iffy, so I decided to be safe and pack, well, one of everything?
Clockwise from top right: Sippy cup with note asking the teacher to put some water in it, Teddy Grahams, Gold Fish, Fruit Snacks (made with fruit and veggie juice!), Apple Chunks, apple-strawberry squeezy apple sauce, cheese stick, hotdog (with nifty stabby fork), ranch dip, Babybel "zipper cheese," Julienne / matchstick carrots.
Not show, but will definitely be added: Note to the teacher, letting her know that I realize this is way, way, way too much food for a normal three year old, and mine eats way less than normal.
Here she is, helping me to put it all in her lunchbox.
It's no bento box, but it will have to do.
If this box comes back with anything missing, I will be satisfied that she didn't starve.
If she eats anything other than Goldfish and Teddy Grahams, I'll be happy.
If she chooses a protein, a veggie and a fruit, I'll be astounded.
And if the box come back empty, I'll want to know who stole her lunch.
