That's sad about BoyCat, and Peeper will miss him and might ask when he's coming back (even though you explained it really well to her.) Is it possible that at some point, a new cat might join your family? BTW, love that topless ballerina!
ReplyDeleteYeah, at one point a while back, she said something about taking BoyCat to the vet and "trading" for GirlCat (whom we put down there a year ago, Thanksgiving).
ReplyDeleteOh crap, I guess I need to make sure she doesn't think we'll be getting her back tomorrow!
As to a new kitty, our dogs have a history of being very aggressive toward any cats other than ours (whom they met as puppies puppies) so we don't have any plans to bring another cat into the home as long as they are around.
Even if that weren't the case, I think it would be a very long time before I would be ready for another.
