Complimentary

After I finished making the wreath yesterday, I left a ziplock full of the rest of the ornaments sitting on my desk. Today, Peeper picked it up and said, "Oh! What colorful* balls you have here, Mama!"

I said, "Yes, they are very colorful," but evidently that wasn't good enough, because she looked at me and said, "Say thank you."

Oh. Thank you.

*Yes, "colorful." This is a word that she uses - appropriately - all the time. I'm not sure where she got it, but I love it.
