Arty Girl

This morning, Peeper and I made it to art class for the first time in ages. We learned about Keith Haring's work, colored on black paper with chalk, then do two bigger projects.

First was "musical murals" - each kid colored on a big piece of paper while music played, and then when the music stopped, they switched to a different paper and colored there for a while.

Here's Peeper, just getting started.

Then, we traced the kids' entire bodies on biiiig paper and colored them in. Peeper had a little help with coloring herself.

But she did add her own little personal touches to the final product.
