Psych!

Peeper fell asleep on the way home, around eight o'clock, and when we came in, she woke up just enough to cry for "goody (in) bed!" and then went back to sleep.

The dogs woke her up around eleven. Despite what the time stamp on this post says, it's actually about three o'clock now, and she's been nursing off and on (and looking at Facebook photos in between) for the past hour, and is still awake.

Why, yes, we are hosting playgroup in seven and a half hours. Why do you ask?

  1. It's hard when they wake up and then can't get back to sleep. At least Peeper wasn't screaming. My oldest used to shriek at the top of her lungs when she couldn't sleep. Her younger sister, in the same room, slept right through it (I don't know how.) I'd lie on the floor beside her bed until she was supposedly asleep, and then I'd try to sneak out. Followed by more shrieking because, of course, she wasn't really asleep.
