Happy New Year!

I owe the Anonyparents' next-door neighbors an apology. For two years, I've been bitching about their New Years Eve fireworks that go on from about 8 pm to 3 am. (At least that's what happened when Peeper was two months old.)

Actually, it turns out that it's the whole freakin' neighborhood.

Especially that street over there that also has lots and lots of houses with way too many Christmas lights and animated lit-up things in their yards.

But, if you want to know who the real class act of the neighborhood is, look no further than the dyke standing barefoot in the middle of the street holding a toddler wearing nothing but a diaper, watching it all.

(Nope, sorry. No photos of that, because no one else went outside.)

I did bring her back in to put on some jammies, then took her back out for a while.

The jammies I put her in are are new-to-us tonight, not exactly a gift, but a hand-me-up from DaNiece, because they are too warm and snuggly for a Texas girlie, but just right for my little Yankee baby!

But, here's one of her in them, trying to see fireworks out the bedroom window.
