Five on Friday #5: Top of Mind

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you read each of these words and why?

  1. Ice: Snow - We've seen some of each this week.
  2. Primary: Undecided - Because I am.
  3. Dirty: Dishes - There are a lot of these in our sink.
  4. Green: Spring - That would be very nice to see some time soon.
  5. Fly: Airplane - Well, duh.

  3. Primary: I voted today for Hillary and several local candidates. Lots of ads for Obama and less for Clinton on our TV. Lots of appearances around the state, also. Bill was in neighboring city this week. Lots of attention since Texas is at bat this time.
Ice: Saw on TV that you are getting snow. Are you all snowed in?

  4. LK/Kiddo - Thanks for playing along :-)

Anonymama - I was just wondering aloud yesterday which way you were going to vote. I'm still struggling with it. I'd be happy with either of them, because either would be infinitely better.

My main concern is which one is more likely to win in November, and I can't quite puzzle that out.

  5. I struggled with that one, too. Daddy may go with Obama; I am not sure. My decision was based on experience and total knowledge about how the system works. I also love him. Whoever wins is my candidate for the November election. 100%. As for McCain, besides that thing about him being a Republican with all the wrong positions on nearly everything, I do not trust his finger on the trigger. He is a hothead. And he is old, just a year younger than I am. Even four years away, he will be 75. And the presidency ages a person. Hope he chooses a good VP candidate. Think if it is Huckabee who is charming and likable, but is to the right of Attila the Hun. By the way, what are your choice of VP's for each of the Democratic candidates. If Hillary pulls it out, I think it should be Obama. If he wins, I don't think that she would take it. Would Edwards do that again? How about Richardson?
This has gotten way off the topic, hasn't it?
