  1. Shreveport/Bossier City? OMG I don't think so. But a lot of our towns matched up. Especially the ones in ARkansas. What the hell? Hot Springs is a nice town though. It is one I have actually been to.

  3. Yep, the town changed its name for the game show. See this wikipedia entry:

Originally called "Hot Springs", it took the name of a popular radio program in 1950, when Truth or Consequences host Ralph Edwards announced that he would do the program from the first town that renamed itself after the show. Ralph Edwards came to the town during the first weekend of May for the next fifty years. This event was called the "Fiesta" and included a beauty contest, parade, and a stage show. The town was also the fictional hometown of Cactus Jack, one of the several professional wrestling personas of Mick Foley.

  4. I have been to Hot Springs and to Shreveport and neither would make my top ten list. Sorry.

  5. I have seen some of New Mexico. It is okay in a Western way but I really like green, so....

Anonymama: If Shreveport is not a nice place to visit, imagine living there :-)

  6. I don't know that I'd really want to live in any of those places, but that website tells me I should.

    Hmmm. . . .

  8. I checked with my friend Barbie- who was raised in Bossier - she said no one WANTS to live there. She said the only way she can stand to go back and visit family is with a lot of liquid courage!

  9. Special K~Toni: About how old is Barbie and where did she go to school? Luckily for her, there is a liquor store for every 10 Southern Baptists who aren't supposed to drink.
