My OB/Gyn is "in network" for my insurance, but the only hospital at which she practices is not.

That really doesn't surprise me. They do that shit on purpose.
ReplyDeleteI guess it doesn't help that I work so far from home. My county isn't actually in the insurance company's "service area," so I suppose I'm lucky there are even covered doctors here.
ReplyDeleteThe local hospital is about five minutes from our house, and the nearest "in network" hospital is about 30 minutes away.
Now, doctors aside, which one do you think I'd rather have a baby in? Or go to in an emergency?
