Daily Peep: Progress?

LiPA says that Peeper probably needs to be about eight pounds before the cloth diapers will start fitting, but I gave one a try this evening.

I even went so far as to put her clothes back on over it, and leave it on until she peed it.

That took about two minutes.

The good news, though, is that they no longer make her look like Ghandi.

Now she just looks, um, pregnant?

  1. Better get used to it, cloth diapers are... um, not flattering... They're much cheaper though, and, oh yeah, they don't destroy the planet.

  2. Pregnant? That is so not funny. As far as saving the world, I really suppose I should put that above the ick factor of having to deal with the cloth diapers, but my days of cheerfully changing diapers may change. Hmmmm, the litterbox is not looking like such a repulsive, disgusting chore after all...

  3. Done cloth, done disposibles. Guess which one was better...

  4. We women usually grow into our brass balls. Looks like Peeper's already got her set. Go Peeper! Be careful with those things... you can make someone cry in an instant with them!

  5. I was not in the brass ball line. LadyKay, so minus the environment and the money, you still like the cloth diapers better? Are they not as gross as I am imagining?

  6. No, minus the cost and the enviroment I'd pick disposibles hands down.

Yes, cloth is pretty gross... but overall you just get used to it. Yeah, that's it, you get used to it...

Well, at least you get to feel all pious and stuff. I got to the point where I referred to diposibles as "paper diapers." (That goes along with referring to bottle feeding as "artificial feeding."

I do recommend using disposibles when you go anywhere, and maybe at night too. I'm all for striking a happy medium.
