The red stripey box in the back contains a Democratic Donkey Christmas ornament - in honor of Baby's First Election. The panda banner was handmade by the same friends who make the windsocks. They actually gave her an Obama windsock as well, but it somehow didn't make it into the photo. I thought about putting it up on the house for the next week or so, but I think I will save it for her, in its packaging, so she'll have it as a momento of the historic events that occurred (knock wood!) while she was in utero.

ReplyDeleteHow I yearn to be there and play with all the loot. You are all fixed up it looks like. Everything looks just great. And what a haul! It's good to have friends. Will they all be there when you need a sitter for the evening?
ReplyDeleteWe don't have quite everything we need yet, but we're getting close.
ReplyDeleteAnd, we've got some gift cards and cash that will go a long way toward filling in the gaps.
But we're a hell of a lot closer than we were a couple of days ago!
