(For the purposes of this list, I'll consider "summer" to be June/July/August.)
- I'm pregnant! This summer covered more or less the second trimester.
- I felt Peeper move for the first time.
- We found out that Peeper is a girl.
- After scaring the hell out of us for a week, Peeper turned out to be just fine.
- Our trip to DC to see Melissa Etheridge (and the pandas).
- Shrike felt Peeper move for the first time.
- Lots of our imaginary friends (and several real-life ones) got pregnant and had babies.
- We made the decision that I'll be a "work-at-home-mom" after Peeper is born.
- We got lots of cheap and free stuff for Peeper.
- Our pre-birth order to both be on Peeper's birth certificate was approved.
