Living History
After Applefest, Peeper and I went down to a Rural Heritage Museum in a neighboring county, for a living history event. We only got to be there for about an hour, but in that time, Peeper got to hug a sheep, help make butter, (watch me) make a clothespin doll, wash and ring out clothes, write her name with a quill and ink, watch one man make brooms and a blacksmith work on an iron tulip, and check out lots of antique wagons and farm implements.
