Saturday Special #2: City or Country

I'm running a bit behind, but this week's Saturday Special theme is was City or Country:

1. Live in a big city or the countryside?
   I live in a small, rural town.
2. Did you grow up there?
   Not even close. I live about 1300 miles from where I grew up. The things we do for love.
3. Favorite local places of interest?
   That's a tough one. Most of the "interesting" stuff around here isn't really the kind of thing that I'm interested in, but I do like that it's a very short drive to the woods, and the Appalachian Trail. We don't go much but it's nice to know that we can if we want to.
4. What do/did you like the most in your present/past area?
   That we're near Shrike's family, and that I've found my "niche" in the local Democratic Party. Because it's such a small town/county, and since the Democratic Party is so small here, it was easy to "move up the ladder" very quickly.
